In many hospitals and clinics, practitioners have worked alongside doctors and nurses at the request of the patient or family members who believe in modern alternative medicine and healing therapies.

Spiritual healing has its own rules; a code of conduct which is always at the forefront of a spiritual healer’s mind when accepting an invitation to heal.

The aim of spiritual healing is to restore a human or animal’s body back to a level of good health. The idea is to bring about peace of mind and body and to treat and lighten the physical and emotional loads of stress which can build up over a person’s lifetime. Spiritual healing is capable of reducing the toxins in the body to help encourage a speedy recovery.

There are many healing techniques across the world; these vary according to one’s culture. The aim, however, is the same: to create an inner connection which will bring about transference of energy via the hands of the qualified spiritualist healer to their patient.

There is no requirement to remove clothing for the transference of the energy to the patient; the healing itself is a spiritual source.

A spiritual healer will have no idea what a person is feeling during a session of healing, some clients report a feeling of warmth while others say they felt a refreshing coolness. Others report a slight tingling all over their body; all, however, agree it is calming to mind and body.

It is important to note that a pregnant woman cannot receive spiritual healing and a minor must always bring a parent or guardian as a letter of consent must be signed.

The physical body, especially the head area, is very sensitive and it is this part which has a connection to the rest.This chakra is found just under the Stellar Gateway chakra, mentioned in the previous article. Both of these chakras allow the distribution of energy, and send out spiritual connections to each and every person living today.

The crown chakra cups this spiritual energy and lets it overflow to all in need; it also endows you with the way of ‘knowing’ which everyone refers to as ‘psychic’.

As a working medium, the Crown chakra and the Stellar Gateway is important to me as they are used to highten my vibration in relation to my private readings.

The crown chakra has other attributes such as selflessness, and enabling a person to empathise with other people and animals.

When a person is deep in thought or has the ability to make use of a high degree of intelligence, it is the crown chakra which is working at its best. The pineal gland situated near the crown chakra helps both chakras to function at a higher consciousness and to resonate with higher ideals.

The chakra colours or stones that are associated with the crown chakra are violet and white. If you feel drawn to these colours, you may need the energy that the colour brings with it, or you are using the natural spiritual and sensitive side of you.

When I am giving a private reading at my home in Cheshire, like most mediums I work well using my crown chakra which naturally enables me to listen to spirit and then relay to you messages of best wishes.

Reiki healing has become as well known as a healing therapy – it is found in many Spa and beauty clinics all over the world.

However, Spiritual Healing is different in the sense that you are trained under the legal eye of the Spiritualist National Union in one of their many churches in conjunction with the association of UK Healers.

There can be some confusion as to whether this type of healing is available to anyone who has chosen to stay away from church services as part of their lifestyle.

Spiritual healing is available for both people and animals. Healers are trained to use this gift by receiving and giving to others the positive energy that helps to relax mind and body.

Take a look at all the different coffee shops up and down the country. A person will choose to enter a coffee shop and order their favourite coffee. Some people prefer a foamy cappuccino, whilst others prefer a stronger espresso. In either case, the energising effect of the coffee starts in the same way – from a bean, which is roasted and ground.

The concept can be applied with any healing therapy. Spiritual healing may be termed differently to Reiki, but its energy still comes from the same original source.

Clients who receive Spiritual healing often email me to say they have had a good nights sleep and now feel more positive than they did before their healing session.

Spiritual healing, Reiki healing and other types of healing is enhanced when used by oneself within the home.
However, a trained professional healing medium will have the required elements and guides that come to the aid with healing when required.

If possible, sit in the kneeling position or on a dining room chair, you need to be able to move freely.

Step one, place both hands on the stomach area, make sure your left hand is over the right hand.

Next, bend slightly forward and gently press inwards, just enough so that you can hear the air coming out of the lung area.

Take six or seven small breaths as though you are sniffing inwards.

This will make your diaphragm expand downwards into your stomach area due to your lungs bringing in the fresh air.

Hold your breath for a couple of seconds and let the air go in an explosive fashion, then repeat.

Note : When done correctly your bodies ribcage will expand, do not rush as it may take you a while to get it right.

If you are having difficulty try to assist the rapid cleansing by pulling in the air with your hands on your stomach and then lean forward to help with the exhalation, it is important you take your time until you get into a rhythm.

A fully trained healing medium will channel those energies to help bring about harmony to mind and body, and release pent up emotional issues.

Spiritual healing can be used by a medium. They allow their spirit guides to work through them, the rays of energies are channelled and the medium does not physically do any healing of a patient.

Healing can be ‘hands on’ which means the medium will place both hand a few inches away from the patient, concentrating by thought of the areas that require healing.

There are other styles of healing such as Near-to-the-body healing, distance healing, contact healing or absent healing.

• Contact Healing is the laying of hands on a patient, it is best to ask permission of a patient to accept physical contact. The healing medium will place their hands around the head and shoulders or hold patients hands.

• Distant healing is quite different, the patient can be sat in front of the healing medium and thoughts will be sent to the areas of the body that require healing without any form of touch. Useful in hospital when contact healing is inappropriate.

• Absent healing is used when invited by a patient to have healing prayers sent to a person who is not able to be present. Distance in mileage or in another country is not a problem; the healing energies will reach that person.

Distance healing can be sent to a patient in even in another country, which has in some respects replaced traditional hands on healing. A qualified spiritualist healer and medium can connect and channel the Universal Life Force to the person who is in need of healing.

However, it is essential for me to say that medical problems require the clarification and knowledge from a local doctor. Distance healing is not a replacement for medical advice.

Humans are connected to the same Universal Source Energy; it has been flowing through each and every one of us since the day we were conceived.

When healing takes place, there is an intention sent to balance and adjust the energies that are lacking, boosting the areas of the body that are low. Self healing is another way humans can stay balanced if run down and feeling lethargic.

Spiritual healing with hands on therapy sessions is great and the combination of healing with distance work brings back a positive energy, to a person’s emotional and physical well being.

There are times when medicine, healing and love given to patients by medical doctors their nursing staff, spiritualist healers and close relations are in vain – this is sad but true.

Taking time to clear the Chakra wheels on a regular basis is an essential part of healing one’s mind and body. When a Reiki healer or spiritual healer is using their gift for healing, it is important to show a client how they can easily re energise themselves until their next appointment.

In my home in Cheshire, I value the information that I have and try to give my Reiki and spiritual healing clients a short Chakra clearing exercise to help them in their own personal time. Spiritual healing, Reiki healing and crystal healing sessions are a great way to lift a person’s energy levels, while at the same time helping them to overcome any lack of confidence and shyness.

My clients who visit me for a private reading or a healing session often state that while I am working they can see lights around my head, with pink, green and amethyst being the most recognisable.

I know by their observations that my Chakras are working correctly and they are looking after my energy levels.
