A guide’s position or job is to lead a medium through life and at the right time, slowly bring about the realisation of the gift and position being offered to them.

When a medium decides to learn how to work with their spiritual gift and guide, it can be hard work. However, it is up to a the person to decide if they wish to work at the time a guide presents to them that they are a budding medium. It is ‘spirit law’ that a guide has to accept the decision.

Training of the human ‘senses’ is best carried out in a training circle with a medium who can give help and advice during the different stages of learning.

One of the hardest lessons when teaching a person to work with a guide is ‘trust’. It is difficult when receiving information to have enough trust in what is being given to pass the valuable information on to others.

A guide will try to present themselves slowly to their would-be medium to give them time to feel as though they know them well; in fact, humans are often surprised that guides actually have a sense of humour.

Note: If you use your own personal intuition to help with your material life, at your side will be your own personal guide helping you to move forward on the path that is most suitable for you.

Messages such as these are intended to lighten the person’s worries. However, they aren’t allowed to give advice which may interfere with decisions of a more serious nature. In these instances, a selection of important guidance is on offer to help the troubled person come to a decision.

As a medium, I am constantly being surprised by the things I hear when a person comes to my home in Cheshire for a private reading.

However, it isn’t always family who come through to give advice, it can sometimes be an angel. Angels possess a wonderful vibration which is higher than we can imagine. It can, however, be an uncomfortable visit when there is the need for emotional or material help. Anyone who is struggling with their spirituality can be given advice by an angel; all angels have the job of tending to a person’s needs whenever necessary.

On occasions, a person who books a private reading in Cheshire will not understand the forms of mediumship I use to help them move on in life; and at times, neither do I.

A medium is the channel or vessel for spirit guides, healing guides and angels to pass on advice or simply make contact with loved ones. A medium can be used to assist with rescue work or to clear a house that may still hold vibrations from previous owners who aren’t aware that they have left this material world.

My clairvoyance doesn’t mean that I am constantly seeing things. I am in control of when and where I use my gift; turning to it when I wish. The only time when a message is given to me without permission is when it is absolutely necessary for a spirit to contact me.

My life as a practising medium can have its up and downs, the angels and guides that work with me are often tested to the limit.

I work on a professional basis with my private readings and the band of helpers are happy giving out evidence for my clients, sometimes a client sat in front of me is not able to understand that the simplest of messages is often the most potent.

Spirit guides are able to have fun; they will pass on cheeky evidence and yet there is guidance in every given word.

A medium will soon learn to take their time as they form a special trust with their band of guides; giving them time to be more adventurous with messages; however, spirit guides will not suffer fools gladly.

If a person is refusing to acknowledge the evidence relayed to them, whilst knowing it to be true, then guides will stop giving out further information and the medium is asked to close off the private reading.

The bands of angels who are attached to an individual are able to work on a higher vibration and each one of us should remember to take time to ask for help in our silent moments.

Note: Giving silent permission to angels to give more help is often a neglected area in life, plus we tend to forget that when help is given and problems are solved to send out a message giving thanks to the angels for their contribution.

When a private reading ends, the first thing a medium would do is to thank both guides and angels for their assistance in providing the guidance that their client needed to help them move forward in life.
