Why the Sagittarian sign of the zodiac is attracted to the turquoise stone

I enjoy using my crystals. Healing the mind and body with crystal is nothing new; the traditions go back in history.

The history of the beautiful and graceful turquoise stone relates to history in numerous ways, depending on the country this beautiful stone has its own special place in the heart of many.

Turkey, is one of the areas, along with Greece, that owns up to having millions of caves in years gone by that contained a large percentage of the stone which was deeply encrusted in its walls and ceilings.

This beautiful stone was admired for many years; it would have pride of place as the centre piece of jewellery and ornaments, the ideal way to show off its mystical and beautiful virtues.

In South America, the Aztecs loved the turquoise and would decorate their death masks in readiness to please the gods.

However, when using turquoise as an accessory, the tradition was that no person may wear their own turquoise and all the best stones were reserved as an offering to please their gods.

In the Middle ages, according to the history books, the colour of turquoise would help to bring relief to illnesses and reduce the pain of a person suffering from severe headaches.

When I look at my turquoise bracelet I am aware of one of my Northern American Indian guides at my side helping me to send out the energy required to bring about a positive effect during my sessions of crystal healing.

The Northern American tribe elder’s, years ago, would wear turquoise as a sign of their great esteem, in particular, the Apache people would honour this stone, especially the medicine man.

I am a Sagittarian and I have always been attracted to the turquoise stone, long before I recognised the healing qualities of crystals.

Healing with crystals is like fine tuning the energies that have become imbalanced within a person’s mind and body.
