The High Priestess Tarot card

Filed under: Tarot — Vivien on May 17, 2011

In some of the packs of Tarot, there can be a card that relates to The High Priestess and a High Priest; today we are looking at the role of The High Priestess.

This card when turned over represents wisdom, knowledge and understanding.

Human behaviour is the talking point with this card; there is time for reflection but also there has to be time for keeping one’s own council. Silence and contemplation is required due to others around being a little secretive.

When we are occupied with too many things to do for others or ourselves then we miss out on the opportunities life has presented to us.

A woman who is having her cards read should look at her values and trust her own mind with regard to her material life and emotions, yet if it is a man choosing the high priestess, then the meaning is different.

A man who chooses The High Priestess card is being asked to be aware of a woman’s presence that will blend with him perfectly, however he has to rely on the male equivalent to female intuition to help him and his female partner grow.

Intuition works for both men and women, The High Priestess is giving a man or woman a message to say that there is a need to pay attention to their subconscious mind. Dreams and symbols are about to lead the relevant party on the next stage of life’s pathway.

Do not be confused; every man or woman has the ability to map out their lives if they listen to mind and body, but the danger is that modern day humans are too busy with their lives and are missing the messages given to help them fix any problems that may arise.
