How the role of guides varies with different mediums

One of the questions asked by members of an audience when I am holding a demonstration of mediumship is, ‘is there one guide for each medium or is there more than one?’

The answer to this question is it depends on the medium; some guides will stay with a medium for all of their life while they are living here on earth.

There are other mediums who can draw on the expertise of a wider range of nationalities and professionals, guides that work with them according to the particular work they are doing.

Guides and helpers are eager to complete the various tasks that have been entrusted to a medium. A guide will offer to help a medium to achieve what has been agreed in the spiritual life before they were born.

There are many guides who are not concerned with a person knowing their identity while others are happy to show themselves to their mediumistic channel so they know they are there to call upon when required.

One guide who has the important job of looking after a medium is known to be a doorkeeper; his role is to determine whether or not a medium is tired and to call time when and if he or she feels his charge is overworked or tired.

When I am sitting with a client in my home in Ellesmere Port near Chester they are always pleasantly surprised to hear messages that contain a joke or a sentence that is cheeky. My guides love to make people laugh, and they love to hear laughter as it is the greatest healing tool of all.
