Mediums like me have the natural ability to raise a vibration high enough to hear or see what or who is around us.

When giving a person a private reading, different things can be shown to a professional medium, including colours, pictures, head and shoulder images and of course, the actual hearing of a voice.

I say a voice as some mediums can have the ability to hear a different tone – other mediums like me hear a voice with the same tone but can distinguish it more with a lighter or deeper sound.

A medium is not likely to be listening to their guides or spirit helpers all the time. They too have a normal lifestyle.

Psychics tap into their senses naturally and should only be working when the occasion demands it. However, it can be a talent or a gift that starts with a gut feeling more than using a spiritual gift.

All communication is a gift as far as I am concerned, but it should be used wisely. It is a responsibility that could go wrong, leaving a person more upset than ever.

It is hard to know how a person will interpret what is being given. I find as a medium it is best to make sure they understand that I will say exactly what is being said to me or the details I am visualising.

A medium should not alter what is being given to them as it could alter the whole meaning for the person receiving their message.

Some mediums receive visions, others are given pictures. Some mediums do not use private readings at all as they have a precognitive gift.

However, premonitions are totally different. They are like knowing what is going to happen and ten minutes or a little later it will happen, similar to a gut feeling.
