Mediums that take services in church used to employ clairsentience as a way of giving a reading with the help of flowers brought in to the church by the congregation. Plants and flowers are sensitive to a human’s energy, and picking or buying a bunch of flowers for one of these services is a way of receiving a delightful message.
In Spiritualist churches this was known as Psychometry. A medium would choose one flower at a time and attune to its impressions, convey a message and then ask who had brought the flower to the service. This was a great way for churches to fill the church with flowers.
However, it has to be said that this type of service has now been banned by the Spiritualist National Union. This is a shame as it was a way of bringing people together, and some would often end up swapping tips on how to grow certain plants.
The churchgoers who would be drawn to certain flowers, and their colours would give an indication of the colour they need to wear, or have around them at that time. Mother Nature provides us with a wide array of coloured flowers, each one with a personality and energy of their own.
Flowers are always associated with the good and the not so good times in life. They can be used for healing tears and to bring happiness into someone’s day.
At my home in Cheshire there is always a few spreading plants in the garden. I like to think they are spreading their everlasting energy to the people who come to my door for their private reading.
