The Ace of Swords in the Tarot

Filed under: Tarot — Vivien on May 22, 2012

A spread of Tarot cards in a reading is an easy way of showing a medium that there is a need for the client sitting across from them to have advice regarding their material lifestyle.

It may be that there is an emotional issue to resolve or worries could be about the health of a family member.

The Ace of Swords is about the strength required to overcome and the fight ahead to regain control of a person’s life.

When turned over in a tarot reading, The Ace of Swords would show new beginnings. How and when depends on the next cards that are placed left and right of this card.

The characterisation is depicted by the sword held in hand. It is about focusing on the situation in hand – emotional or material problems require a forthright decision, remembering to use any advice with clarity.

A medium and tarot reader will know that the family of swords is aligned to the element of air.

The qualities of the ‘air’ family are about honesty and integrity. This will mean that the client sat across from a reader will worry about how to go about clearing away any unwanted debris honestly whilst being sensitive to others around them.

A working medium like myself finds that my guides will unfold the mystery of the cards, whilst giving to me the opportunity of passing on their verbal comments to help in any situation.

It is important to mention at this stage that both my guides and I are not in a position to tell anyone how to make a decision in relation to their future.
