Many clients, when they visit a medium for a private reading and want to know more about their gift, are fascinated with the idea that a medium has one or more guides. Guides, or ‘helpers’ as they are sometimes referred to, have a wide range of jobs.
A guide’s main role is to help a medium verbally pass spiritual messages to help those requiring guidance through a private reading.
A guide is a highly developed spirit person who has usually lived on earth many years ago. They have chosen to teach and act as a link between the two planes of existence, so at the same time helping a medium to develop the gift they have.
As an example, Red Indians often work closely with guides; they are well known for being spiritual people that lived and worked with Mother Nature and so many are ideally suited to spiritual work.
However a guide can also be someone a person has known in a previous life or a family member. There are guides for different skills too. Healing guides tend to be Chinese, Mandarin or Japanese, perhaps because all these nations are well known for their skills with healing therapies and herbs.
A budding medium will have to work carefully to recognise there guides’ teachings. Their psychic skills have to be raised to a higher spiritual level; the gifts they have require a certain sense of responsibility when making contact with the spirit world and passing on messages of comfort in a private reading.
Each guide chooses to work closely with a medium, remaining close to earth to be of assistance, only moving away and slipping into the background at certain times.
