Most people, when they first meet a medium, will ask these three questions listed below:
1.   What is a clairvoyant?
The word Clair- which is at the forefront of the words clairvoyant, clairsentient and clairaudient, is French terminology that means ‘seeing clearly’.
A person who is a clairvoyant will be able to relate what he or she sees. Some clairvoyants ‘see’ a movie scene as you would in a film, other clairvoyants will see objects or picture negatives and some are able to describe the figures of people who have passed on. Although clairvoyant is the adjective most commonly used, many mediums are actually clairaudient or clairsentient and these other gifts involve a different style of communication.
2.   What happens at a private reading?
When expecting a person to come for a reading, a medium will take time to settle quietly with no rushing around. This helps them to concentrate on any message to be given that will need relaying to a ‘sitter’.
If possible a medium will have meditated asking their helpers (or guides as some people prefer to call them) to come forward. It is necessary to focus to pick up what is being given accurately; the exact wording should be correct as even one word different could lose the precise meaning of the message for the sitter.
When a reading is complete, drinking a cool glass of water will help a medium to clear away his or her client’s energy.
3.   Can my friend be at the private reading with me?
The reading given by a medium can easily become congested when two or more people are involved as the energies that are transmitted can be mixed up and entangled. This destroys a medium’s concentration and the sitter would feel they have not had a true reading. In addition, most people have their own private matters that they would prefer to remain private.
