One of the Major Arcana cards found in the Tarot is the Death Card. This card, when drawn out of the pack at a private reading with a Tarot reader, always appears to unnerve a client. Playing cards were first invented in India, before spreading to China. They were introduced to Europe by the Saracens in 1275.
